Richard & Laetitia Garriott de Cayeaux – Richard is a video game developer and entrepreneur. He is also known as his alter egos Lord British in Ultima and General British in Tabula Rasa. A well-known figure in the video game industry, Garriott was originally a game designer and programmer and now engages in various aspects of computer game development and business. Laetitia works for Escape Dynamics, Inc. a Colorado-based R&D company focused on novel aerospace technologies.

Ruth Petzold – from wildlife in the wilds of Africa, Antarctica and the Arctic, to the undersea world of the Pacific Rim countries and the Caribbean, she has pursued the beauties of nature on all seven continents and in most of the global seas and oceans. Her passionate love of natural world has taken her to exotic and remote parts of the world in pursuit of her subject matter – eleven times to the African continent, New Guinea ten times, Solomon Islands ten times, six times to Indonesia, and much more. A renowned photographer with many awards to her credit, Ruth’s work has been exhibited in the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, the Vero Beach Museum of Art, the Crooked Tree Art Center in Michigan and the Lighthouse Gallery in Florida. Her work has been published in the National Geographic and her photographs appear in the Natural History of Fishes and other scientific publications with Dr. Eugenie Clark. She has won awards from the Crooked Tree Art Center, American Society of Media Photographers, and a gold medal for International Underwater Photography in Egypt.

C William Steele – Internationally renowned expert caver – recipient of a Citation of Merit

Mike Massimino – American engineer and former NASA astronaut who is now a professor of mechanical engineering at Columbia University. Massimino is a veteran of two Space Shuttle missions, both of which serviced the Hubble Space Telescope (HST), including the historic final repair mission.

Captain Alfred Scott McLaren – Retired US Navy and President of The American Polar Society, is a lecturer, writer, and research scientist. His area of scientific research is the role of the Polar Regions in global climate change, and he has traveled extensively in both the Arctic and Antarctic. He is the author of over 50 research papers in scientific professional journals. He is also Director of Sub Aviator Systems LLC and Senior Pilot of their revolutionary new submersible the Super Aviator. Captain McLaren is a Director of the Institute of Nautical Archaeology at Texas A&M and President Emeritus of The Explorers Club, founded in 1904 to promote scientific exploration and field research.

Alan Nichols – President of the Explorers Cub from March 2012 to March 2015 – He has carried the Explores Club Flag on nine expeditions that have focused on sacred mountains, ancient roads and traditional cultures around the globe. He was the first person to bicycle 10,300 miles from Istanbul to Xian in China, following the legendary ‘Silk Web’ and the first Westerner to circumambulate Mt Kailas in Tibet.
