I shot a series of portraits of Olympic and Paralympic Volunteers and Game Makers, heroes of London 2012
I asked each of the more than 650 I photographed to portray how volunteering for the games makes them feel, I left it up to them to interpret that feeling.
Each volunteer is free to use the image for themselves, a memento. The purpose was to shoot a simple image of each volunteer removed from the venue in which they were working. To focus on them, to give the guy directing people inside a tunnel and the girl working at the stadium equal billing.
The images are presented below with images of the Olympic Stadium.
